I have a filter on the state with multiple selections. I want those state names to show in the title of the worksheet as well. How to get filters in the title.

The best thing about the worksheet title is, you can use the attributes here. And so, if you have a filter and want to show the selected value in the worksheet title then you can easily do so. Let’s say we have a filter on category and selected technology and home office.

Now open worksheet title and there use the filter name-


How to create the line chart like this-


This is a multiple-line chart and you can do the same as well in tableau. For example, if you have yearly sales data and want that to be divided into subcategories. This can be achieved like below-


Is it possible to have a line chart where 1 is a solid line and another is a dotted(dashed line)

Yes, it can be done. Let’s say we have the yearly sales trend where we are differentiating the sales on the basis of categories.


Now if you want to change this to the dotted line, right-click on it and select format option. Here select the line type as dotted. You can check this for more formatting.
