Smoke testing is nothing but the general health checkup of application to
ensure if or not the normal features of the application is working fine. This is  mostly shallow and wide. However, Sanity testing is in depth testing of specific  feature of an application and this is done to ensure if all the features of a  specific scenario is working fine or not. Sanity testing is narrow and deep.
