If you are enthusiastic enough to restart your career after 10-year gap, then firstly start by updating your skills. Try to familiarise yourself with the changed trends in the field of technology and industries or where you want to go in your career. For example, if you want to restart your career in the field of technology and programming then you should aim to learn programming languages such as Python and JavaScript. You can also leverage online platforms such as GitHub to showcase your coding projects and your contributions.

Moreover, you can explore some other platforms and technologies like AWS or Azure for contemporary development practice. Try to take part in the coding challenges provided by platforms like LeetCode to sharpen your problem-solving skills. Platforms like LinkedIn can also help you connect with industries and professionals. It will also lead you to stay updated on the trends which are the latest and in huge demand in the contemporary market.
