  1. Never make assumptions. An analyst should go to the client with an open mind.
  2. Never say yes to everything, you believe is not true. It doesn’t mean you need to start an argument but consult with the right people or engage others for a healthy debate.
  3. Proactive analysts do better than once with reactive behavior.
  4. Avoid ambiguity in communications. Make sure what you say or write should not have multiple connotations. And most importantly, they should not be opposite or contradictory.
  5. Do not use negative words in communication unless necessary.
  6. Think and consult with the team and other stakeholders before committing or denying any proposition.
  7. Work on the root cause rather than jumping onto a solution.
  8. Trust and believes in your life should not affect your decisions and solutions for the client or business.
