Difference between Business Requirements Document and a Request for Proposal?

Answered by Kaushik Chandra

Typically, a Request for proposal (RFP) is prepared for the reason of requesting a proposition from different sellers. Let's consider a case where RFP is sent to potential companies who outfit outsourcing administrations, to request offers. Whereas a BRD is ready for a particular Company who has as of now been chosen by the contracting company. The BRD typically contains subtle elements and more details and due dates to be met along the way and at the conclusion of the project.
