What is VPC (Virtual private cloud).

Amazon virtual private cloud provides facility of launching ec2 instances & related services within a private network. It basically isolates the services from the public network and creates a private cloud.

It basically forms a network layer which is separate from public or default one and hence can only be accessed within the assigned VPN only.

The components inside VPC are -

A subnet which is a range of ip’s assigned in a VPC.

Route table.

Internet gateway.

VPC endpoints
