Scheduling hosts and service checks

Any no. of hosts or services can also be checked at predefined time/date/day irrespective of Nagios default timing schedule.

Let’s say there is a database service check is enabled, and the service changes it state only at specific time/data and then the “changed state” need to be monitored by Nagios at the particular time only. Using default procedure Nagios will check the service on a daily basis as it does for other sets of services hence, to avoid with the service check the specific timing using date/day can be set to enable nagios check for respective time frame only.
