What is the difference between elastic vs lambda?

 In the context of AWS, here is the brief comparison given between elastic beanstalk and lambda:-

AWS elastic beanstalk

Elastic Beanstalk can simplify the deployment by providing a Configuration environment with the automation of balancing, scaling, and monitoring.

It would support both vertical and horizontal scaling based on application requirements.

If you are using the elastic beanstalk then you would have more control over underlying infrastructure including EC2 Instances, load balancers, etc.

Lambda scales automatically based on the incoming request which would allow you for effective Resources utilization and cost savings during low traffic periods.
AWS can manage the underlying infrastructure, including server provisioning, reducing management overhead.
