How to configure MFA devices for IAM users?

Below steps need to be followed-

Choose “users” in the navigation pane.

Hit “Security Credentials” adjacent to “Assigned MFA device” then choose “Manage.

Select “Virtual MFA device” and choose “continue”.

Open virtual MFA app list and install one on your smartphone, (eg. Google authenticator)

Scan QR code from AWS account from MFA app on phone.

type code 1 and code 2 (after 30 minutes of time).

Submit request immediately after code generation.

Now every time while login to AWS account a user needs to enter the code from the MFA device/app which enhances security.
