Converting array to list in Java

Ever needed to convert an array to a list in Java? I have! Which method is best? Arrays.asList() is quick for simple conversions, but remember it's backed by the original array. My experience is that if you need full list functionality, creating a new ArrayList from the array is the way to go. It is easier to change.
