I need to create a dynamic pie chart or a set of them. I have my first pie chart with my data, however, I want to be able to click on one of the slices and it either opens a new pie chart that breaks down the data in further detail. how to do this?

This can be achieved with the help of a dashboard. We have an option called dashboard action. Using dashboard action you can achieve this requirement.

let's say you have two worksheets with the name sheet1 and sheet2. add both the worksheets into the dashboard.

Now go to the dashboard action and click on the add action. Here select the filter option. This will give you a popup option. Here make the changes as shown in the below image-
